1. Information We Collect
We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to operate our platform:
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and username. We also collect basic profile details.
- Gameplay Data: We store your progress and scores. We also store your achievements and Ticket balances. These records ensure game continuity across devices.
- Payment Information: For purchases, payment processing is handled securely by third parties (Apple, Google, Stripe). We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
- Device & Analytics: We collect non-personally identifiable telemetry data (e.g., crash logs, device type) to monitor platform health and improve our games. We do not use aggressive surveillance patterns.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data solely for business and operational purposes, including:
- Providing and securing your account.
- Delivering the services and content you request.
- Delivering the Ticket bundles you request.
- Detecting fraud and cheating on our leaderboards or payment systems.
- Detecting abuse on our leaderboards or payment systems.
- Sending essential transactional emails (e.g., receipts, password resets) or updates.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only with trusted service providers (like Appwrite for database hosting, Stripe for payments) who are contractually obligated to protect it.
4. Your Rights
You have the right to access your personal data. You also have the right to correct or delete this data. You can request account deletion by contacting us. Deleting your account will result in the permanent loss of your Ticket balance and gameplay progress.
5. Minimum account age
You must be at least 18 years old to create a TriviaX account or purchase Tickets. We do not offer accounts to people under 18. If we learn we collected data from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly.
